A report and an image set serve different purposes

The radiology report is the written interpretation. The image set contains the scan data a receiving clinician may need for comparison or another opinion. Ask for DICOM access if required, how to download or collect it, and whether a viewer is necessary. A photograph of a screen is not the original image set.

Before leaving Beijing, check that any download works, note its expiry and preserve original files. Ask whether the report is issued in English or Chinese; a third-party translation should be identified as a translation and kept with the original. Clinical interpretation belongs to the radiologist and treating doctor.
